Website security is very important to Crank the Earth. We take it very seriously and leverage the latest industry-standard SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption to protect your personal information.

How do I track my order?

To track your order you need to be logged into your CTE account. Then you can go to your My Profile page to view your order history. Click on the "View Order" link to view order status. If your order has shipped, you will see a tracking link that will allow you to track your package. Tracking results can take 24 hours to update from the time of shipment. You can also track the shipment of your package by clicking on the tracking link that was included in your order shipment confirmation email.

Can I make changes to my order after it has already been placed?

Once an order is submitted through the CTE website, it is usually not possible to make changes to the order. We do our best to pull and ship orders as quickly as possible which makes these types of changes very difficult. You can always contact us at help@cranktheearth.com to request a change to your order, and we will do our best to catch and change it before it ships.

How do I cancel my order?

To cancel an order, send us an email at orders@cranktheearth.com to request the cancellation. Include your ORDER # in either the subject line of your email. If your order has already shipped, you will be given instructions on how to return the order once you have received it. Once we receive your order back to our warehouse, your credit card will be refunded less the original shipping charges.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Visa and Mastercard. Sorry, at this time we do not accept Discover, American Express or Paypal, but we may offer them as payment options in the future.

Can I use CTE dollars and a gift certificate on the same order?
Yes, you can. At the third step of the checkout process you will be able to apply both CTE dollars and a gift certificate code.

Can I reserve a jersey or t-shirt using my shopping basket?

You cannot reserve a jersey or t-shirt in your shopping basket. Placing an item in your basket does not mean that you will be able to buy it at a later date. If you have an item in your shopping basket and if it sells out before you finish checking out, you will be notified in the checkout process and the item will be removed from you basket.

How do CTE dollars work?

CTE dollars can be earned three different ways. First, if you submit a photo of yourself wearing a CTE jersey or t-shirt that you purchased on our site, you will earn one CTE dollar. You can earn only one CTE dollar per jersey or t-shirt.

Second, anytime your email blast for a winning design results in a sale, you earn two CTE dollars. Use the link on the page (when you're logged in) to email that jersey and if your buddy buys it, you'll earn two CTE dollars! If we post the picture on our site, you'll earn five CTE dollars! Be creative, have fun, and earn CTE dollars.

Lastly, win! Cyclists that win the CTE monthly contest will receive $100 CTE dollars for each award.

To view your CTE dollars, log in and go to your my profile page. To use your CTE dollars, enter the amount you want to use when checking out.

CTE dollars cannot be transferred and are not redeemable for cash.

I want to sell CTE jerseys in my retail store. How can I do that?

If you are interested in selling Crank the Earth jerseys in your store, email info@cranktheearth.com.

Please note that we typically require retailers to have a physical brick-and-mortar location to be considered for approval. Retailers that are exclusively internet-based will not be approved.

Can I change the information on my CTE account?

Absolutely! To make changes to your account you need to log in and go to my profile page. There you can change just about everything.

What are my shipping options?

Orders are shipped via UPS or US Postal Service with the options listed below. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for processing of orders.

Orders Within The U.S.

UPS Overnight or Second Day (1-3 business days)
Door-to-door tracking. Overnight shipping is not offered for P.O. boxes. Orders must be place before 12PM Central Time to be shipped out the same business day.

UPS Ground/Home Delivery (3-7 business days)
Door-to-door tracking. UPS Home Delivery is not offered for non-contiguous U.S. states, U.S. territories, or P.O. boxes.

USPS Priority Mail (3-7 business days)
Priority Mail is only offered for P.O., A.P.O., and F.P.O. boxes and non-contiguous U.S. states and territories. This service has limited tracking.

International Orders

USPS First-Class Mail International (3-5 weeks)
There is NO tracking offered with this service. USPS First-Class Mail International is not offered for orders greater than $175 or with a weight greater than 4 pounds (approx. 6-7 jerseys or t-shirts).

USPS International Priority Mail (7-14 business days)
Door-to-door tracking.

The customer is responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes that may be imposed by your country's customs department.

How much will shipping cost me?

CTE offers a variety of options for shipping your original t-shirts and jerseys (see above). If you are in a hurry and need your new stuff right away, we can do that. If you are not in a huge hurry and would prefer a slower and cheaper method, we can do that too. To figure out how much shipping will cost for your order, just click on the "Calculate Shipping" button in the checkout process to see the costs for the various available shipping methods. Please note that for international orders, our USPS First-Class Mail International does NOT offer tracking. If your order is getting shipped outside of the United States and you would like tracking with the shipment, we highly recommend selecting the USPS International Priority Mail option.

Can I track my shipment?

Will there be customs fees applied to my international order?

International orders may have additional fees applied to them by the receiving country's (your country's) customs agency. Crank the Earth has nothing to do with these fees and is not able to estimate fees or determine whether or not there will be any. To learn more about your country's customs fees and any other import duties/taxes, we recommend contacting your country's customs agency.

When will my order ship if I choose UPS Standard Overnight or UPS 2 Day?

Your order will ship out one to three days after the order is placed (excluding weekends and holidays).

How are your jerseys printed?
All of our cycling jerseys are printed and manufactured using state-of-the-art-sublimination printing processes on high performance microfiber CS-Tech polyester wicking fabric.

How are your t-shirts printed?
All of our shirts are printed using state-of-the-art screen-printing processes and other apparel embellishment techniques, including soft-hand inks, water-based inks, specialty inks, foils, and embroidery.

What kind of t-shirts do you print on?
All of our t-shirts are printed on American Apparel® 100% cotton t-shirts.

What kind of jerseys do you print on?
All of our jerseys are printed on Champion System or Atac Sportswear microfiber wicking fabric.

If a winning design or size is sold out, will it ever be reprinted?

We rarely reprint jerseys or t-shirts after they sell out. We suggest if you see a jersey or t-shirt that you want, pick it up before it's gone.

What is your return policy?

If you're not 100% satisfied with your order, let us know about it and get something else. You can return the item(s) for an exchange or credit for up to 30 days of placing your order. We do not accept returns or exchanges after the 30-day period.

Please fill out the return form on the back of the invoice from your order and send it with your return item.

Please fill out a form for each order # and send us a printed copy with your return item.

All returned jerseys and tees must be in the original, new condition you received them in. We will not accept washed or worn items. If a washed or noticeably worn item is returned, the return or exchange will be refused and sent back to you.

Who pays for return shipping?
If the return is due to a mistake on our part (ie. we shipped you the wrong jersey or it has a defect), we will reimburse you for the return shipping costs as long as you use a standard shipping method. If you are returning a jersey or t-shirt because you are not happy with it or want to exchange it for a different one, then you are responsible for the shipping costs. Before you ship anything back to us, please a give it back to us form so we can provide you with complete return instructions.

How long does it take for my return to be processed?
Please allow up to two weeks for us to process your return.

How do the voting contests work?

I just submitted a design but I don't see it in the vote section yet. Where is it?
All submissions must first go through an internal screening process before being accepted into our vote section, or rejected. This initial screening usually takes 24-72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Once your submission is either accepted or rejected, you will receive an email notification.

What is the best program to use to create and resize my artwork so I can submit it to your site?
There are many different programs that will work to design your awesome jersey or t-shirt. We like to use the Adobe Creative Suite, but it's really up to you.

How can I suggest a cycling tour or ride to list on the CTE events calendar?

We're always excited to post newly found events to our calendar. Please email events@cranktheearth.com to suggest a ride or cycling tour for the events page.

How do winning artists get paid?

CTE pays the winning cyclist through PayPal. Your cash prize and store credit will be transferred to you on the day your winning design is announced on the CTE site.
